Important Info About McGrawFAN Presales
PLEASE NOTE: in response to problems members have been having with getting pre-sale passcodes, we have removed restrictions on getting passcodes to make the process more streamlined. This should clear up problems members have had resulting in the error message: "It appears that you have reached your presale and/or Fan Club On-Sales limit."
There has been some confusion about how the new process for ticket pre-sales works, so we wanted to lay out some details to help fans understand the process and hopefully have a better experience when buying tickets. If your questions are not answered below, please email our customer service department at mcgrawfan@musictoday.com. We apologize for the confusion in using this new system, and want to help everyone get their questions answered and clear up any confusion.
McGrawFan pre-sales are first run through the Musictoday system for a 24 hour period or until they are sold out. You must be a member to participate.
There are no passcodes required for these pre-sales, and you can participate in as many pre-sales as you like throughout the tour.
There is a limit of 6 or 8 tickets per show, depending on market size.
We work very hard to secure the best seats available for these pre-sales.
Tickets for these pre-sales usually allow the purchaser to chose their delivery method. A few venues may require that the tickets are Will Call only.
Once the Musictoday pre-sale for a particular show has ended (either sold out or reached the end of the 24 hour window), the Ticketmaster pre-sales begin.
For the Ticketmaster pre-sales, you will need a unique passcode to participate.
You can get your passcode by going to the Tour page in McGrawFan and clicking on the show you would like to buy tickets for.
When you click that link you will be given a passcode. Your passcode will also be emailed to you.
Again, you will use the same passcode for all pre-sales.
The limits for Ticketmaster pre-sales are: 6 or 8 tickets per show (depending on market size), and 12 tickets total for the entire tour.
You cannot buy tickets through Ticketmaster until the Musictoday pre-sale has ended.
On the first run of pre-sales we used a generic passcode for those shows, but found that users were sharing that passcode with people who are not McGrawFan members, so we have switched to unique passcodes for all shows going forward.
Generally, the Musictoday pre-sales start at 10AM LOCAL VENUE TIME on the Tuesday before the public on sale date, and the Ticketmaster pre-sales start 24 hours after that or once the show has sold out, and end before the public on sale.
